But he was not only interested in spiritual health, but also in physical health, as is reflected in numerous texts in the Bible.<\/p>\r\n<p>Throughout the <strong>Sacred Pages<\/strong>, references to situations of physical healing by Christ are abundant.<\/p>\r\n<p>As a sign of this interest in the total welfare of his followers we share some passages from the apostles<strong> Matthew<\/strong>, <strong>Mark<\/strong>, <strong>Luke<\/strong> and <strong>John<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity among the people&#8221;. Matthew 4:23<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>And behold, a leper came and fell down before him, saying, &#8220;Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean! And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, I will; and immediately he was cleansed from the leprosy&#8221;. Matthew 8:2-3<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;Simon&#8217;s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever; and immediately they told him about her. He went to her and took her by the hand and lifted her up. And the fever left her, and she began to serve them.&#8221; Mark 1:30-31<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;And Jesus answered him, saying, What do you want me to do for you? And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:51-52<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;Luke 7:21 &#8220;And behold, a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years walked with her back bowed and could not straighten herself up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said to her, &#8216;Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity. And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was upright, and glorified God&#8221;. Luke 13:11-13<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>Jesus said to her, &#8220;Arise, take up your bed and walk. And immediately the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. John 5:8-9<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;When he had said this, he spat on the ground, and made mud with the spittle, and anointed the eyes of the blind man with the mud. And he said to him, &#8216;Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which means sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing&#8221;. Do not lose sight of my words; keep them deep in your heart. They give life to those who find them; they are the health of the body&#8221;. Proverbs 4:20-22<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<em>God tells us to take his Word to heart and to love it, for it will give us health.<br \/><br \/><\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/iniquities-biblical-meaning\/\">iniquities<\/a>; upon him was the chastisement of our peace, and by his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<em>This verse from Isaiah speaks of how Jesus Christ bore our sicknesses and pains on the cross, paying for our sins.<br \/><br \/><\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;Wherever you go, preach this message: &#8220;The kingdom of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/description-heaven-bible\/\">heaven<\/a> is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy of their disease, cast out demons. What you have received without charge, give without charge&#8221;. Matthew 10:7-8<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<em>This was the message that Jesus Christ gave to the apostles before He sent them out to carry His message to the people of Israel. As we see, healing was an important part of their ministry.<br \/><br \/><\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;What do you want me to do for you? -he asked.<\/strong><br \/><strong>-Rabbi, I want to see,&#8221; replied the blind man.<\/strong><br \/><strong>Jesus said to him, &#8220;You may go; your faith has made you well.<\/strong><br \/><strong>Immediately his sight came back, and he began to follow Jesus along the road.\u00a0 Mark 10:51-52<\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<em>This verse alludes to one of the healing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/miracles-jesus-performed\/\">miracles of Jesus<\/a> Christ, in which Christ restores sight to blind Bartimaeus. Sometimes God needs a show of faith to grant us healing.<br \/><br \/><\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<blockquote><strong>&#8220;Is any of you sick?
