The monks in the monasteries prayed it every Monday morning, and <strong>It is now frequently used in the Eucharist as a responsorial psalm.<\/strong> In addition, <strong>its verses are frequently quoted in the Gospels <\/strong>for example, in John 19:36 during one of Pontius Pilate&#8217;s encounters with Jesus in the Passion of Christ.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;For these things came to pass that the Scripture might be fulfilled:<\/p>\n<p>No bone of his shall be broken.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>John 19:36<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Focusing on the <strong>analysis of Psalm 34<\/strong> itself, we see that it is a psalm in which the author, King David, <strong>seeks God&#8217;s protection in one of his episodes of persecution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Many times, we also require God&#8217;s protection in the face of some of the threats of our daily life, such as fears and difficulties. This psalm intends to instill <strong>confidence in God in those who listen or read it, and we assure you that it succeeds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Psalm 34 1-3<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first three verses make the message clear: <strong>we should bless the Lord all the time, because thanks to God, our soul is delivered from sin and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/temptatione-bible\/\">temptation<\/a><\/strong>. It is easy to identify the motivational tone and the strength of the message in these words.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Psalm 34 4-10<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following six verses, from 4 to 10, <strong>David is dedicated to making us reflect on why God allows bad things to happen in the world and why we often have weaknesses.<\/strong> He insinuates that we should pray as if everything were in God&#8217;s hands, but strive as if it only depended on us.<\/p>\n<p>When we pray, the Lord frees us from our worst fears. We see this reflected in verse 4:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I sought the Lord, and he answered me;<\/p>\n<p>freed me from all my fears.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Last verses of Psalm 34<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, the remaining verses to the end <strong>urge us to trust in the Lord<\/strong>. God will supply our needs if we trust in Him fully. This message is paramount for Christians, because our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/faith-according-bible\/\">faith<\/a> is based on this. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/verses-god-love\/\">God&#8217;s love<\/a> and strength are infinite, and he will make us live happily,<\/strong> even though it often seems impossible.<\/p>\n<p>We see that there are three verses, 11, 12 and 13, that show the beauty of this message. This is the only way to put an end to the selfishness and evil in the world.
