Seek it in prayer and in the Holy Scriptures, and try to keep your heart firm in faith. At the beginning of the letter, it is well indicated to whom it is addressed, specifying that it goes to those leaders who remain among the captives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, Jeremiah sends a <strong>message<\/strong> <\/span><b>of light and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/bible-verses-hope\/\">hope<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from God to those who were forcibly removed from their homes, in many cases paying the righteous for sinners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The people of<\/span><b> Israel had defied God<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> worshiping false gods and living in vice and lust, being punished for it with the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem. Even so, not all the inhabitants of the region deserved that punishment, so this letter wants to instill hope in them and give them the mission to be the ones to renew the Jewish people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jeremiah&#8217;s prophetic action was not an easy task, since he had to be the one to inform his fellow citizens of the danger that lurked before the invasion because of their misconduct.
