Why must those who know Him wait for such days?<\/li>\n<li>Some move boundary stones; they steal flocks and pasture them.<\/li>\n<li>They drive away the orphan\u2019s donkey and take the widow\u2019s ox in pledge.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>They push the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/needy-biblical-meaning\/\">needy<\/a> off the road; the poor of the land hide themselves together.<\/li>\n<li>Like wild donkeys in the desert, they go about their labor, searching for food; the wasteland provides food for their children.<\/li>\n<li>They gather fodder in the fields and glean in the vineyards of the wicked.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Lacking clothes, they spend the night naked; they have no covering against the cold.<\/li>\n<li>Drenched by mountain rains, they hug the rocks for lack of shelter.<\/li>\n<li>The fatherless child is snatched from the breast; the infant of the poor is seized for a debt.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li>Lacking clothes, they go about naked; they carry the sheaves, but still go hungry.<\/li>\n<li>They crush olives among the terraces; they tread the winepresses, yet suffer thirst.<\/li>\n<li>The groans of the dying rise from the city, and the souls of the wounded cry out for help. But God charges no one with wrongdoing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li>There are those who rebel against the light, who do not know its ways or stay in its paths.<\/li>\n<li>When daylight is gone, the murderer rises up, kills the poor and needy, and in the night he is like a thief.<\/li>\n<li>The adulterer waits for dusk, thinking, \u2018No eye will see me,\u2019 and he keeps his face concealed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"16\">\n<li>In the dark, thieves break into houses, but by day they shut themselves in; they want nothing to do with the light.<\/li>\n<li>For all of them, morning is like the shadow of death; if someone recognizes them, they are seized with terror.<\/li>\n<li>They are like foam on the surface of the water; their portion of the land is cursed, so no one goes to their vineyards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"19\">\n<li>As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.<\/li>\n<li>The womb forgets them, the worm feasts on them; the wicked are no longer remembered, but are broken like a tree.<\/li>\n<li>They prey on the barren and childless woman, and show no kindness to the widow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"22\">\n<li>But God drags away the mighty by His power; though they become established, they have no assurance of life.<\/li>\n<li>He may let them rest in a feeling of security, but His eyes are on their ways.<\/li>\n<li>They are exalted for a little while, then they are gone; they are brought low and gathered up like all others; they are cut off like heads of grain.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"25\">\n<li>If this is not so, who can prove me false and reduce my words to nothing?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"job-24-explained\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Job_24_Explained_Verse_by_Verse\"><\/span>Job 24 Explained Verse by Verse<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"954\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"God_and_the_Timing_of_Justice\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"952\">God and the Timing of Justice<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1070\"><em data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1057\">&#8220;Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know Him wait for such days?&#8221;<\/em> (Job 24:1)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1214\">Job begins the chapter with a <strong data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1134\">direct and blunt question<\/strong>: <em data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1212\">If God is just, why doesn\u2019t He establish clear times to judge evil?<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1452\">This question <strong data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1272\">is as old as humanity itself<\/strong>. We see evil around us\u2014corrupt people getting richer, innocent people suffering\u2014and there seems to be no immediate divine intervention. <strong data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1450\">Why doesn\u2019t God set things right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1774\">But here\u2019s something interesting: <strong data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1543\">Job is not doubting that God will bring justice<\/strong>, but he struggles to understand <strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1596\">why it takes so long<\/strong>. This same tension appears in the Psalms, in Habakkuk, and even in our own lives when we ask God to intervene, but the heavens seem silent.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1822\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Reality_of_Injustice\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1820\">The Reality of Injustice<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"1880\">Job <strong data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1852\">bluntly describes<\/strong> what he sees in his society:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1964\"><em data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1951\">&#8220;Some move boundary stones; they steal flocks and pasture them.&#8221;<\/em> (Job 24:2)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"2218\">Here, he talks about those who <strong data-start=\"1993\" data-end=\"2040\">seize lands that do not belong to them<\/strong>, pushing out the weak. It\u2019s a picture of <strong data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2116\">unchecked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/greed-biblical-meaning\/\">greed<\/a><\/strong>, something we still see today when corporations exploit resources without considering the harm they cause.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3535\" data-end=\"3600\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Big_Question_Why_Doesnt_God_Act_Immediately\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"3540\" data-end=\"3598\">The Big Question: Why Doesn\u2019t God Act Immediately?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3602\" data-end=\"3642\">Here lies the <strong data-start=\"3615\" data-end=\"3639\">great dilemma of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubibliaonline.com\/en\/faith-according-bible\/\">faith<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>We know that God is just.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>But we don\u2019t always see His justice when we expect it.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 data-start=\"5456\" data-end=\"5516\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion_How_Do_We_Apply_This_to_Our_Lives\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"5462\" data-end=\"5514\">Conclusion: How Do We Apply This to Our Lives?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5518\" data-end=\"5609\">If today you feel like Job, <strong data-start=\"5546\" data-end=\"5585\">wondering why God doesn\u2019t act<\/strong>, let me tell you something:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>God is not absent.<\/strong> His justice is not immediate, but it is certain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your cry is valid.<\/strong> Do not be afraid to express your doubts and pains to God.<\/li>\n<li><strong>While you wait, keep trusting.<\/strong> Job never stopped seeking God, and in the end, his faith was rewarded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"6143\" data-end=\"6230\">Let us continue trusting and doing good.
